

Sansaw Estate is a diverse operation. The Thompson family have lived here for over 150 years and continue to innovate the facilities available on-site to comprise accommodation and employment. Currently, the estate runs a state-of-the-art dairy unit, an award-winning business park, a widespread property portfolio and 3,000 hectares under management.
We were approached by James Thompson, Managing Director of Sansaw, to expand the estate’s potential business opportunities by carrying out a variety of internal fit-out works. This included works to the previously converted stable blocks and farm building into new office units and transforming an outbuilding into a space for external staff on the business park to enjoy their environment and relax.
SRW Consultants managed all aspects of the projects to give the client peace of mind and one point of contact – clear communication and a physical presence on site is of paramount importance to the SRW Consultants team.
The stable blocks received a complete renovation. Our team supplied and installed both framed and frameless glass partitioning to create functional workspaces within the new offices. Suspended ceilings were added, alongside functional requirements including new flooring, plumbing and heating services and insulated perimeter walls.
The farm building conversion required the team to dryline the internal walls, install bespoke solid and glazed partitioning and fit new insulated timber floors to create a completely functional open-plan office.
We converted an outbuilding into a new restroom and break out area for the dental staff of one of Sansaw’s tenants, Esthqtique Dental. Examples of the works carried out include; the installation of a new kitchenette, drylining with insulated plasterboard to be skimmed and decorated, and extraction and lighting with new fire detection smoke alarms.
These projects were carried out over multiple phases to suit the client and the bespoke needs of the tenant. We’re thrilled to have been a part of the growth of the Sansaw Estate’s award-winning business park and that the client was pleased with the services we provided.
